Jack Buddhist Knight

This website is a living memorial to a true hero, John Tuttle. John led a life of honor, courage, and virtue. He exemplified these values on the battlefield, never demonstrating it more than when he gave his life to save the lives of others. John died on July 1, 2007, when he jumped on a grenade to save the lives of children who were standing nearby. John's bravery has been widely recognized. He was posthumously awarded the medal of bravery by the Governor of Anystate on October 5, 2007. John died in the same way he lived; always putting the well-being of others before his own. John was a remarkable role model for his family, friends, and the entire nation.

John is survived by his wife, Carrie Ann, his two children Maggie and Morgan, his mother and father and his four older brothers.

Help us continue to honor John's memory by making a contribution to John's favorite charity, Anytown Children's Hospital. We are also collecting donations for the Fallen Military Heroes Family Fund. Both of these are worthwhile causes that help keep John's spirit alive. Making a donation is a fitting tribute to John.
